We are currently seeking a talented Design Draughtsperson to join their growing team in Norwich.

Position Overview: As a Design Draughtsperson, you will play a crucial role in the product development process, contributing to the success of their high-end manufacturing projects. You will work closely with the clients engineering and design teams, utilising your expertise in Solidworks and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to create detailed and accurate technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Generate precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using Solidworks.
  • Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for products.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address design-related queries and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Design Draughtsperson in a high-end manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and experience in creating and maintaining them.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and precise technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Education: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, design, or a related field.
